Family Fun Day: Thursday 2nd June at Lea Green Development Centre, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Following the success of the family Easter Egg Hunt in April, this is another opportunity for a fun day out as a family. The event falls during the summer half term and is in National Family week. Families will have the opportunity for rounders, Ozbox and a BBQ!

Crich Children's Centre: Park Play. Every Tuesday 3:30pm - 4:30pm on the Crich recreation ground from 3rd May - 19th July. This is an opportunity for the children to let off steam after school, with outdoor park activities based around a different theme every week. Download activity leaflet.

Choose Cycling in Milford has a range of activities on offer for cyclists. Cafe Cycling is a bike ride to a local cafe for a cuppa on the first Saturday of every month. The group starts from the Strutt Arms car park on the A6 in Milford at 10:00am. Cycle training is an affordable cycle training service for all ages and abilities in the Erewash and Amber Valley area. Cost is £15 per session. Fix your bike yourself workshops are at the Strutts Community Centre in Belper on the first Tuesday evening of every month. They are aimed at giving participants quick and easy ways of keeping their bikes running smoothly all year round.

Jog Derbyshire 5k: Sunday 5th June at Rosliston Forestry Centre. This is a scenic, off-road run following the tracks and trails around the centre. The entry fee is £5 and online entry is available. The race starts at 10:00am. Parking (£2 per day), toilets and refreshments are all available in the visitor centre. More info..

National trust Cycling Festival: To celebrate the Tour de France there will be special routes open to cyclists at Longshaw's Cycling Festival on 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th July. More info about the festival...

Cycle Festival: Clumber Park, 16th - 24th July, 10:00am - 5:00pm. 9 days of cycling themed activities.
